Submit your photographs for the 2024 Baxter State Park Calendar!

The annual Baxter State Park calendar is a collaborative effort of Friends of Baxter State Park and Baxter State Park. The calendar is an important outreach tool for the Park and a great opportunity to share your passion for the Park through your photography. Every year, Park staff and Friends members donate all photos for the calendar. The deadline for submitting photos for the 2024 calendar is October 31, 2022. Please download a packet with an entry form and detailed instructions for preparing and submitting your photos.

Preliminary photo selections are made in November by a review committee. The publisher reviews our selections in December and January, and selections are finalized by February. We typically notify photographers in March about the results of their submissions. The calendars are printed in spring and are usually ready for distribution by summer. All photographers with a photo printed in the calendar will receive a complimentary copy of the calendar from Friends of Baxter State Park. The calendar is published by Maine Scene, a family-owned business in Union, Maine.
